The good news is that a CSF leak that leads to meningitis is a pretty low risk for most patients. For those who have the "translab" approach in their surgery, the risk is approximately 12%. So don't let that part worry you too much. God must've been trying to get my attention. ;) We'll be praying that all goes well with your surgery and that you face NO complications as you recover.
